Moclips Beach is wide, sandy, and family
friendly. Pets are allowed to wander
freely. You can build a bonfire on the
beach in the evening. Razor clam
digging is a popular activity on the few
weekends per year permitted by the
Department of Ecology.
Nearby you will find the beautiful Moclips
River with the ruin of an old bridge.
Further up the river a trail leads into the
"Enchanted Forest", where you can
glimpse a crumbling cliff topped by a
forest. Across the river is the Quinault
Indian Nation and no development has
taken place there. Wildlife will often
wander through the area: deer, otters,
sea lions, and more.
