GULL WING INN Charming inn with three suites located across the street from the beach - a 90 second stroll to the sand. The rooms sleep 2 to 7. They are nicely decorated with antiques - an antique shop is found on-site. Each unit has a kitchenette. Guests share a hot tub. Pets are allowed. The newly constructed observation tower gives a great view of the ocean and the occasional whale.
Moclips Beach is wide, sandy, and family friendly. Pets are allowed to wander freely. You can build a bonfire on the beach in the evening. Razor clam digging is a popular activity on the few weekends per year permitted by the Department of Ecology.
Nearby you will find the beautiful Moclips River with the ruin of an old bridge. Further up the river a trail leads into the "Enchanted Forest", where you can glimpse a crumbling cliff topped by a forest. Across the river is the Quinault Indian Nation and no development has taken place there. Wildlife will often wander through the area: deer, otters, sea lions, and more.
