OCEAN CITY STATE PARK
This is the first sandy ocean beach you can reach from
Seattle. It sits at the entrance to the Ocean Shores
peninsula. The sand stretches from here north to volcanic
Point Grenville on the Quinault Indian Nation reservation and
south to the North Jetty at the mouth of Grays Harbor - a total
of 30 miles of sand.
I brought my little boy here when he was two years old for his
first experience of the beach. People bring down onto this
beach their cars, bikes, coolers, kites, dogs and hang out for
the day.
