QUINAULT BIG SPRUCE

This thousand year Spruce tree (all these big trees are said
to be 1,000 years old) stands 191 feet high on the grounds of
the Rain Forest Resort Village near the south shore of Lake
Quinault. A parking lot is provided on the South Shore Road
and a short quarter mile trail brings you to the tree.

Kids enjoy climbing several feet up on the roots. A sign
gives all the statistics about the tree. Nearby you can
wander over to the lakeside on the resort grounds.
